Houlihan Lokey, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the firm's growing marketing team. This is a cross-functional role to develop, manage, and execute the marketing strategies and activities of multiple practice areas and geographies.

Reporting into the Co-Head of Marketing in Europe and working closely with colleagues both in the London office and internationally primarily with corporate finance marketing and banking teams, as well as colleagues in the creative services, events and digital departments, to help in the management and execution of day-to-day marketing activities, events and other marketing initiatives.


Day-to-day responsibilities and tasks will include but not be limited to:
  • Leading sector-level marketing plans and coordinating with banking teams in the management of an annual calendar of marketing activities, as well as contributing to comprehensive monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Managing distribution lists of key marketing materials on our CRM platforms
  • Managing the publishing process of various types of content, activities and campaigns (e.g. deal announcements, quarterly newsletters, reports, white papers, events and marketing collateral)
  • Managing the content process to be published to, assisting in monitoring website content, facilitating maintenance and updates on a quarterly and ad hoc basis
  • Working collaboratively with bankers to leverage LinkedIn as a marketing vehicle
  • Assisting in event marketing and coordination, particularly during conference season
  • Research and analyse current marketing efforts in the larger context of the organization and the market.
  • Create and manage effective timelines, accountabilities, and milestones while setting expectations of management and other project stakeholders, and proactively communicate project status to the marketing and banking teams
  • Working collaboratively with the wider marketing team to share knowledge and support on ad hoc tasks and events
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Ability to multi-task, managing numerous projects across multiple stakeholders simultaneously within compressed timeframes
  • Exceedingly detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to work independently on a project as well as collaboratively as a team player
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools, with an enthusiasm for all elements of digital marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, especially senior executives
  • Strong problem solving skills and an ability to think strategically
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented person with a proactive approach to executing new projects
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities with ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Computer savvy, with software proficiency with MS Office and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
  • Prior experience and confidence in working with senior executives
  • Prior experience of B2B marketing, ideally in a professional services firm (within the financial industry is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms
  • Working knowledge of project management software within a team
