- You will drive the continued success and further enhancement of the firm's sector activities working with client relationship partners, sector teams and other key stakeholders, specifically in relation to: Private Equity, Restructuring and Insolvency, Aviation and Marine, Family Office / Private Capital, Trust Advisory Group, Sustainable Investing and ESG, Technology and Web3.
- Working with each sector team to develop annual sector plans including gap analysis, identifying opportunities and setting out relationship objectives and activity in order to achieve agreed outcomes
- Identify new business opportunities including the promotion of all of the company's products and services across Legal, Corporate Services and Regulatory Consulting
- Lead quarterly meetings for each sector team ensuring that data reports are understood and circulated in advance of each meeting, with key insights highlighted for discussion
- Develop and co-ordinate a programme of ongoing meetings (at all levels) between the firm and key clients, intermediaries and referrers in each sector group
- Establish efficient channels and find innovative solutions for handling client communication across the firm
- Collate feedback from key clients, intermediaries and referrers and circulate to each sector team, with relevant actions and ensure all actions are followed up as required
- Work with the firm's in-house Client Research team to commission and analyse data, driving understanding of key relationships and potential gaps/ opportunities for sector team
- Develop and deliver a calendar of regular reporting on the performance of the entire sector portfolio to the key stakeholders, to provide regular updates on activity status, workflows, financials, pipeline, market intelligence, upcoming marketing and BD activity and rolling action lists
- Develop and maintain a dedicated sector portal, maintaining all relevant key information
- Drive best practice utilisation of the firm's CRM and reporting systems in order to ensure that relationship activity, new pipeline opportunities and market intelligence are accurately recorded and reported on, in order to drive sector management activity
- Liaise with the internal communications team to ensure that success stories are shared internally across the group
- Support RFP and panel submissions as required
Background & Experience:
- Proven track record of key account and event management in a professional services environment and a major financial centre
- Extensive experience in a B2B related industry
- The ability to build rapport and trust with key clients who are senior professionals
- Great problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work with a range of personalities, levels and cultural backgrounds with strong interpersonal, inter-cultural, communication and negotiation skills
- Capable of managing and implementing marketing and BD activity to a high standard
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities to bring operational efficiency to a key account management programme
- Flexibility with working hours as necessary (in line with the firm's flexible working policy)
- A strong team player with an intelligent, proactive and pragmatic approach
- Ability to simultaneously multi-task across responsibilities in short time-frames
