Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the Real Assets Equity Solutions team and help shape and drive the future growth of the Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets business. You will be part of a collaborative and growing team, with responsibility for investor relations and growing new business from institutional investors for LGIM's Real Assets Equity (real estate and infrastructure) platform and feeding valuable investor insight back to senior management to inform business planning and decision making.

In this role, you will build a close relationship with the Investment Teams and represent the platform to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

New Business:
  • Driving key growth projects for Real Assets Equity - helping to bring new products to market, (drafting internal papers, creating marketing documents)
  • Work with the Sales Team to support distribution for existing and new Real Assets Equity solutions to grow AUM and revenue streams
  • Manage investor due diligence onboarding process (answering RFPs, helping with commercial negotiations, key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders)
  • Researching clients' current and future investment needs in order to inform new product development initiatives
  • Providing insight and analysis into the wider product landscape and competitors
Investor Relations:
  • Support Investment Specialists to manage the overall investor experience (answering RFIs, ad hoc queries)
  • Develop strong knowledge of all aspects of a fund (investment strategy, client base, product structure)
  • As required, assist in coordination of investor calls, fund updates, site visits, advisory committees and reporting
  • Supporting the evolution of the existing LGIM Real Assets platform: e.g. fund changes, EGMs
  • Develop relationships and maintain relationships with clients
Qualifications
  • A graduate with a 2:1 undergraduate degree from a top university and experience working in a client or stakeholder facing role in an investment/asset management, investment consultancy, real estate or infrastructure environment
  • Organised, good attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet short deadline requirements
  • A strong interest in designing new investment products in the private markets space
  • A positive individual with a can-do attitude to problem solving and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player who is happy to work flexibly within the team and other key stakeholders, including fund management teams and senior management
  • A desire to develop their own network of investor contacts within the real estate and infrastructure investment management industry
