Institutional Banking Group (IBG) provides customised solutions for clients ranging from large corporations and institutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. We continually invest in people, product capabilities and digital innovations to support business growth and transformation of our clients. As part of IBG's large-corporate team, you shall be involved in the coverage of IBG-Government-Linked Corporations (GLC) clients, through serving them with a holistic suite of products and solutions, innovative ideas and regional connectivity.

Responsibilities
  • Originate ideas and businesses relating to debt/sustainable financing, cash management, digital solutions, capital market fund raisings (debt and equity), financial advisory, and treasury solutions.
  • Leverage DBS' regional connectivity and collaborate as One-Bank with regional and product teams to deliver best-in-class solutions and services to clients.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of account plans to achieve, among other things, revenue/ wallet share growth from and deepening of relationship with clients.
  • Prepare credit proposals - including quantitative and qualitative analysis, manage client accounts pro-actively and undertake periodic credit reviews in a timely manner.
  • Construct full-fledge financial models based on sound understanding of clients' business, industry drivers, developments and trends, and macroeconomic factors.
Requirements
  • A recognised bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy, business, economics, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate (the large-corporate segment) and investment banking.
  • Sound knowledge and skills in credit structuring, corporate finance, financial analysis and modelling, and PowerPoint presentation.
  • Strong client management skills, as well as soft skills in managing and collaborating with external and internal parties in the course of work.
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure to complete assignments/projects under tight deadlines.
  • A self-starter who is adaptable, resourceful, and motivated to achieve results and succeed.
