This role sits within the Regional Consumer Banking Group (CBG) Credit team and supports the Head of Regional Consumer Credit Acquisition & Partnerships. The primary focus of this role is on driving strategic consumer credit infrastructure, systems, and data priorities, as well as developing roadmaps to achieve robust consumer credit risk management capabilities, scalable operating effectiveness, and quality business growth.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strategic consumer credit infrastructure, system and data roadmaps to support robust and scalable consumer business priorities.
  • Horizontal Organisation and Data Driven Operating Model ("DDOM") mindset to drive consumer credit process & system initiatives/enhancements to improve customer & employee journeys.
  • Maximise value from Regional Consumer Credit led projects and drive future-proof solutions.
Responsibilities

1. Regional Consumer Credit Project Management
  • Provide support to the Product Owner (PO) in key regional consumer credit risk management initiatives, such as the CBG Credit project aimed at automating and digitizing the CBG Credit portfolio and collection monitoring and reporting.
  • Maintain a clear vision for the product (or process/system).
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders within Regional CBG Credit, RMG units, Technology, and others to develop appropriate product/solution.
  • Assume responsibility for managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
  • Oversee ongoing change management.
  • Be accountable for delivering value from the product.
2. Regional Consumer Credit Systems - Initiatives and Enhancements
  • Lead the strategic alignment and implementation of regional consumer credit and fraud systems in collaboration with other Risk Management Group (RMG) units (under Enterprise Risk Platform) and Technology.
  • Ensure adherence to credit systems project management and financial governance for initiatives and enhancements across the region, working closely with other Credit tribe members.
  • Drive the transformation and automation of manual processes (end-to-end) and other digital enablement tools/projects to enhance efficiency, productivity, and improve customer and employee experiences.
  • Champion the sharing of system-related learnings and best practices across the region to leverage synergistic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other RMG units, Technology, and CBG Business to drive continuous improvement in the adoption and implementation of consumer credit risk tools.
Requirements
  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of Consumer Credit, Collection and/or Fraud systems experience across the region.
  • Preferably possess the following complementary work experience in:
    • Consumer lending digitalisation and automation infrastructure and capabilities
    • Data engineering
    • Agile practices
    • Project management
  • Transformational mindset to challenge, innovate and change the way we work
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills. Must be adaptable to different cultures and market practices.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage conflict/complex situations (including making tough decisions).
  • Strong system, infrastructure and data project management skills.
