Your new role

As the Senior Underwriter you will manage a commercial portfolio, which will include Property, Motor & Liability. Key elements of this role will include:
  • Contributing to the overall strategy, planning an execution of policies, product plan and outcomes of complex portfolio balance
  • Coach team members to achieve or exceed service standards and operational targets in the region.
  • Underwrite complex risk business in accordance with the business plan, guidelines within individual earned or delegated underwriting authority.
  • Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
About you

You are an experienced Underwriter with experience as an:
  • Effective business partner, confident in engaging with senior members of Insurance Brokers & doing customer presentations.
  • Commercial underwriting experience ideally in Property
  • Complex analytical and research skills with ability to use risk profiling, pricing tools & loss models.
