Role Summary & Role Description

The Master Data Management Team provides data management service to various State Street business units across the enterprise. This is a permanent position within the department in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

•Account for the day-to-day management of the team and manage daily service delivery and production activities performed by staff
•Act as primary contact and escalation point for operational issues
•Manage production activities of Associate I, II and Senior Associates
•Identify and implement consistent operational best practices
•Assist with compliance/fiduciary reviews and audits
•Train, develop and motivate new staff, complete performance appraisals
•Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff, participate in individual on-going training and development
•Provide technical expertise and analytically strong to resolve daily problems
•Help define and implement new company initiatives
•Other duties as assigned by Management

Core/Must have skills:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent
5+ year of exp in Data Analysis, Data Management and/ or Client Static Data.
Preferably experience working with industry standards, reference data, remediation or data quality.
Pride of ownership with the ability to deliver high quality results timely
Independent decision-making capabilities, demonstrated thought leadership
Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
Good at forecasting red flags/bottle necks to team and leadership
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate data
1+ years of People Management exposure

Good to have skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, Power BI), advanced levels of excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros implementaions & maintenance)
Project management skills (organized, self-motivated and deadline oriented)

Work Schedule:
Hybrid - 3-4 Days work from office
