About Business Line
CRD extension projects are customized SSGA solutions and integrating them with CRD system. Charles River (CRD) is a common trading application facilitates the portfolio managers for portfolio construction, order creation and order execution of multiple asset classes. Order creation involves selecting a security and adding order details, and can occur in several places including the Manager Workbench, the blotter, or in an external system. Order execution involves planning how to execute an order and then carrying out the plan. Compliance processing can occur throughout the entire trading process.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Range
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Play application and resource manager role of a Trading application that trades Fixed Income assets
  • Execute the Project Management using Agile practice, Stakeholder Management, Collaborate closely with Business and IT counterparts located at Global locations
  • Get very good understanding of the functional domain and have good technical knowledge of the application
  • Manage and share the Project Dashboard
  • Projects included small / big functional enhancements, migration projects, automation projects, regulatory requirements, reports to clients
  • Strategic planning in taking the over the project from the current vendor SME to the captive team in multiple phases and by having a strong team to run the project successfully
  • Ensure the SDLC (Agile) and STLC framework is implemented in the project
  • Manage the business priorities, plan releases major and minor based on the priorities
  • Proactive risk mitigation plans on critical releases
  • Represent as application manager in various forums and lead the efforts from the application side as required


Skills & Knowledge
Qualification & Certifications
  • 12+ years of software development experience in IT industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Project manager in a large scale application with Technical background
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing skills
  • Worked as developer and technical lead in his past experience
  • PMI-ACP Agile certification
  • BE or any equivalent educational qualification in Computer Science background

Primary Skills (Must Have)
  • Proven Application & Resource Manager in Software Development
  • Very Good experience Investment Banking Domain and Trading Applications
  • Very Good experience leading or managing migration projects especially on cloud migrations
  • Strong development background in the career especially Java & Oracle technologies
  • Good experience in creating presentation for proposals, project plans
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
  • Agile practice using JIRA, XRAY tools
  • ServiceNow, or other project management tools
  • Fixed Income functional Domain

USP of the Role

  • Good exposure to the Fixed Income asset class domain and business stakeholders
  • Challenging role to take over the application from vendor management to captive, and lead successfully
