Who we are looking for:
  • Analyse business needs & document Business Requirements.
  • Write functional specifications.
  • Review & provide feedback on system design/specification documents.
  • Prepare Test Scenarios, Test Cases and execute User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing and End-to-End System Integration testing
  • Participate in configurations, data mapping, and system implementation tasks.
  • Report progress, risks and issues to Project Lead.
  • Produce future state operating model and assist with the creation of business procedures.
  • Manage stakeholder group

What you will be responsible for
As Senior Business Analyst (Unit Registry), Officer , you will:
  • Provide production support to business users on system processes/ application functionalities across Unit Registry systems;
  • Investigate and trouble-shoot production issues reported by users and work closely with system vendors or internal IT teams for prompt resolution;
  • Engage with Business SMEs to gather/document business requirements and liaise with system vendors to ensure correct understanding and delivery of system/application enhancements that meet business requirements;
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and proactively manage and close out system defects and issues in line with business expectations;
  • Work with Business stakeholders, Business SMEs and Technical teams to support UAT activities and coordinate production implementation of system changes and enhancements;
  • Provide and maintain documentation including Business Requirements documents, Project plans, Test plans, System release notes and Training guides for business users;
  • Perform health checks on applications and systems following completion of infrastructure/patching updates and work with IT teams to resolve any issues.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Unit Registry processes in the Australian environment and Unit Registry systems.
  • Strong knowledge of connectivity with CHESS (ASX clearing and settlement system) for trade message transmission
  • Preference for Strong knowledge of Unit Registry ETF processes.
  • Analysis and Business requirements gathering skills.
  • Ability to produce Business Requirements with clear & specific details leaving no room for misinterpretation.
  • Data mapping skills
  • Ability to produce detailed business procedures and support documentation.
  • Ability to plan & execute Acceptance Testing.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
