Global Banking and Markets - Global Markets

Hang Seng's Global Markets business provides superior service, fully integrated solutions and 24-hour global markets coverage. Our support framework is substantial. Our advanced technologies deliver quick access to key markets. Our capital strength allows us to tailor competitively-priced solutions for specific client business around the world. We provide a full spectrum of treasury services to our customers, including foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, derivatives products, capital markets instruments, as well as market intelligence on global trends and key developments.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Dealer III, Credit Trading.

Principal responsibilities
  • Ove rsee fixed incomes trading book, including rates & credit, generate revenues and manage FX, interest rates and credit risks for the respective business;
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to uplift flow business upon retail demands and possible extension to other business line;
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with external stakeholders to deliver trades to the desk;
  • Anticipate client demand in each respective product/market;
  • Cooperate with structure team to develop credit-linked products best fit for market appetite;
  • Leading strong governance and controls;
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure;
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics;
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation;
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined;
  • Complete ad-hoc task assigned by line manager
Requirements
  • University degree in or above in related discipline;
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related role;
  • Sound knowledge of respective products, including FX, interest rate and credit related products;
  • Obtain and maintain required licensing and registrations as applicable;
  • Sound analytical and numerical competency;
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication;
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to analyze and pitch situations and determine suitable counterparties;
  • Resilient, capable to work responsibly in a dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese);
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
