Our client, a fast-growing boutique global asset manager specialising in macroeconomic strategies, has an opening for an experienced Middle Office Operations Analyst to support the OTC Derivative Trading Desks.

In this role, you will act as the subject-matter expert and first point of contact for the Front Office, working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment that consistently achieves impressive fund performance. As a Middle Office Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire trade lifecycle for OTC Derivatives (to include Repos, CDS, IRS, Equity Swaps and Options), serving as the first point of contact for traders and providing essential support for their trading activities with oversight of third-party administrators.

This role entails managing the full trade lifecycle in a high-volume environment, predominantly through straight-through processing (STP), while also handling complex exceptions and investigations. You will collaborate closely with the front office and third-party administrators on various middle office tasks, including NAV & P&L oversight.

This is a fast-paced, rewarding and dynamic environment, focusing on macroeconomic strategies and investing in diverse asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, and Crypto currencies. Although this role will support the OTC Derivative Trading Desks, candidates are only required to have a minimum of 2-5 years trade support experience with at least Equity Swaps and Options experience gained in either an investment manager, investment bank, third party administrator or wealth manager to be considered.

As a member of the middle office team, you will take ownership of the full trade lifecycle and work closely with quant developers to establish robust operational processes for Operations. Your role will involve being a crucial link between the front office and third-party middle office administrators, ensuring efficient communication and seamless trade operations.
