Zip has a unique opportunity for an experienced Head of Investor Relations & Sustainability to join us for a 9-12 months fixed term parental leave contract. Reporting to the Group CEO, the role will be an opportunity to work closely with the international Executive team and senior leaders across our core markets (ANZ & US) maintaining and developing the existing Investor Relations & Sustainability program.

In this role you will manage external relationships, including current and prospective shareholders and research analysts, developing strategic messages, and assuring strong and consistent communication with the investment community. You will be able to successfully interact at a senior level in the organization and possess a strong executive presence and strategic understanding of the company and the payments landscape.

The position will see you collaborate across multiple functions including Legal, Finance, Strategy, Group Communications and Marketing to successfully deliver on IR and Sustainability activities.

Interesting problems you'll get to solve
  • Work with the existing Director Investor Relations & Sustainability to transition and implement a proactive investor relations strategy that is aligned with Zip's corporate goals
  • Coordinate and oversee the announcement of all financial results (Annual, Half Yearly, Quarterly), including the preparation of scripted remarks and accompanying slides, press releases, anticipated Q&A, and other related materials.
  • Coordinate and develop market communication materials (Zip's Annual Report, AGM, investor presentations, Q&A, scripts, key messages/talking points, etc.) in collaboration with the Executive Team in preparation for investor and analyst events, roadshows, conferences, one-on-one meetings, and announcements.
  • Organise and manage investor roadshows, investor events, conferences, one on ones. Accompany executive leadership at investor conferences to participate in meetings with institutional investors and analysts.
  • Interact with the investment community on behalf of Zip. Develop and maintain investor and analyst relationships. Handle day-to-day inquiries, ensuring that information provided is consistent and aligns to agreed messaging / financial metrics.
  • Build strong relationships across Zip to develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Group's products, strategy, operations and financial performance, in order to accurately represent these to the investment community.
  • Manage clear and consistent communication between internal and external parties. Ensure IR messaging and positioning is consistent with internal and external communications.
  • Develop and implement a proactive Sustainability program that is aligned with Zip's strategy and materiality matrix in collaboration with subject matter experts across the business
  • Work with representatives across the group to enable Zip's compliance to the new AASB reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Group communications to enhance Zip's Corporate and Sustainability narrative

What you'll bring to the team
  • Minimum of 12+ years of related experience, including experience at a Head of Investor Relations role. Additional experience in overseeing Sustainability a plus
  • Bachelor degree qualified in Commerce / Finance.
  • Experience in corporate finance, equity research or corporate communications in the payments industry and / or an ASX 200 organisation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong executive presence and significant experience working with and influencing senior teams/executives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and proven ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders effectively and credibly.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with the investment community and establish relationships with investors and analysts.
  • Sound understanding of financial statements and financial modelling and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, team player and self-starter; commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work at pace across multiple functional areas and comfortable both as an individual contributor and team player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and a good knowledge of ASX and disclosure requirements
