Senior Case Manager - Personal Injury | LAUNCESTON, TAS

With proven expertise we provide a diverse range of products and solutions for our clients. By joining our high performing Workers Compensation team in Launceston, Tasmania you will be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding service innovative thinking and return to work support. As a Senior Case Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims and delivering high quality claims management services. This position suits a strong influencer and relationship builder who can seamlessly work with a range of internal and external stakeholders. A positive and can do attitude is a must for this role.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Ensure customer service standards are maintained and responsibility taken for prompt resolution of issues/complaints
  • Maintain regular contact with customers and/or other stakeholders, in line with service standards, ensuring they are consulted as part of the claims management process and informed of all key claim developments and aware of their obligations
  • Proactively manage claims identifying and managing return to work barriers on individual claims and implementing strategies to address these
  • Work with Team Leader and specialists within the team to provide coaching and support as required
Important to your success:
  • Experience in personal injury claims and/or customer service role, ideally within the insurance industry and/or with knowledge of allied health (rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy).
  • Enthusiasm and ability to deliver high quality services and positive customer experiences
  • Technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
  • Ability to recognise, avoid, manage and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution
  • High attention to detail
