About the Real Estate Team
The Real Estate division of DWS is a full-service Real Estate manager with approximately EUR 60 billion AUM globally. DWS Real Estate acquires and manages investments in individual assets or Real Estate portfolios on behalf of funds and separate accounts.
The US Real Estate franchise is responsible for the origination, acquisition, asset management and disposition of Real Estate assets across the US for both Debt and Equity strategies. The team works on diverse tasks across various Real Estate asset classes such as office, industrial, retail, logistics, hotels and residential schemes.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $350,000 to $500,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight for the definition, development and execution of the growth strategy for Real Estate Debt across the US, with overall responsibility for investment performance across strategies covering senior debt, junior debt and capital markets
- Driving the delivery of financial targets and KPIs for the US Real Estate Debt platform
- Building and managing a high-performing specialist team to ensure that all activity is conducted in line with regulatory and firm requirements, policies and procedures
- Working with partners across Product and Corporate Functions to design and manufacture products that meet the demands of clients across multiple channels
- Playing a lead role to drive fundraising strategies through partnerships with the relevant client coverage teams
- Ensuring the team and individuals are supported in executing against business plans and all risks (reputational, business, operational, legal and regulatory) are identified, managed and controlled
- Reporting on key topics to Senior Management, while maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders relevant to the Real Estate Debt business
