Position Title: Part-Time Finance & Operations Manager
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Hong Kong

Job Description: Part-Time Finance & Operations Manager
Play an integral role by managing a range of finance, administrative, and operational duties for the Foundation's finance and governance.

  • Office administration
  • Bookkeeping and expense management
  • Program finance, tracking donor budget vs actual expense
  • Donor records and tax receipts
  • Banking
  • Audit preparation
  • Human resources management
  • Workflows for operational efficiency
  • Liaise with company secretary, lawyers, accountant, auditor, vendors, and IT support
  • Assist with fundraising events
  • Other duties as required in a small charity
  • Prepare and present a quarterly report for the Finance & Governance Committee meeting
  • Draft the Finance & Governance Section of the quarterly Board Meeting report

  • Organized, accountable and solutions-oriented
  • Passionate about nonprofit, children and helping less developed areas of China / Asia
  • Qualified accountant or CFA, strong English verbal and written communication skills, with Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus
  • Attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Excellent time management, project management and able to meet deadlines
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, IT proficient
