Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure - Cloud Migration

About the Client

Our client is a reputable Hong Kong organization that has a growing portfolio of subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China. With an enviable record of success, they are now further expanding their technology team and looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager, focusing on cloud migration.

About the Role

Reporting to the department head, you will collaborate across the organization with architects, project managers and technical managers to develop overall cloud migration strategy. As a team lead, you will partner with third party providers, focusing on data center consolidation and transformation and work closely with the different platform owners in creating and maintaining their road maps and ensures enterprise alignment and integration. Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of the cloud migration project, ensuring all aspects align with organisational objectives and strategic goals. Lastly, driving modern cloud technologies as this is a key underpinning technology function ensuring modern platforms support all services.

The Successful Applicants

• Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science Engineering, or Mathematics focus preferred
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure implementation
• Strong foundational knowledge of Enterprise IT and operating natively within cloud
• Experience with Enterprise IT and Cloud Technologies/Services
• Knowledge of app and/or infrastructure migration and modernization, IT Infrastructure, IT operations, or business applications
• Understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and cloud offerings.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with emerging cloud technologies, methodologies, and solutions
• A self-starter and passionate regards cloud technologies, able to create and deliver new process and technologies
• Extensive experience of cloud design principles, modern application architectures and underlying platform
• Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Good command in Chinese and English
