The Successful Applicant
- Lead the identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets aligned with the investment strategy and growth objectives of the family office.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to evaluate opportunities for investment and expansion, especially within the F&B industry, but also in related sectors like real estate and travel.
- Develop and present detailed investment proposals, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit analysis, to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of M&A transactions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless execution of deals.
- Foster and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, investment banks, advisors and key influencers to source potential deals and stay updated on market trends.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments to identify new opportunities for investment and growth.
What's on Offer
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successful M&A transactions within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably within a private equity, investment banking or corporate development setting.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with proficiency in analysing complex financial data and performing due diligence.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of driving initiatives independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
