Job Title: DWS - Project Support Business Analyst - REFX and Fixed Asset

Location: Manila

It is undergoing a period of substantial and exciting change. Following its listing as a public company on the Frankfurt stock exchange in March 2018, DWS is undertaking a significant transformation over the next few years to implement state-of-the-art infrastructure aligned to the needs of an asset manager.

The Chief Finance Office Division of DWS comprises Risk, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Integrated Reporting, Regional CFO teams, Tax, Capital & Liquidity Management, Finance Director teams for the Investment Platform, Coverage and Infrastructure functions and the COO team.

Finance is currently going through a significant transformation which includes the implementation of a new SAP platform. This means that a significant number of operational processes will be automated and standardised globally. This requires the creation of new teams, including the Cash Management Lead, to support these processes which will start small with the initial go live and grow as additional entities are migrated onto the platform over the following 12 months.

Your key responsibilities
  • Knowledge around IFRS 16 (Real Estate); and IAS 16 (Fixed Asset) and Local GAAPs to define proper accounting treatment
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure that the system performs as expected.
  • Participate in completion of control framework and process documentation for in-scope processes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP to run investigations and validate data.
Your skills and experience
  • Certified Public Accountant with experience in accounting function
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP is preferred
  • Experience with business/data analysis within financial services showing strong analytical skills and clear problem solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with SAP and MS Excel
  • Ability to work well under pressure while overseeing multiple tasks
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid set up
