Healthcare research analyst

My client a foreign securities firm is looking for an equity research analyst covering 6-8 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Chinese healthcare industry, including regulatory policies, market trends, and competitive landscape. The candidate should also have a solid foundation in financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Conducting in-depth research on the assigned companies, including financial analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Building and maintaining financial models for the assigned companies, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts, including company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
• Writing research reports and presenting investment recommendations to senior analysts and portfolio managers.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of investment strategies.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• A passion for the healthcare industry and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
