Our client, a top tier Chinese Investment Bank, is looking for an Associate Director- Equity Derivatives Middle Office. This role will be involved in day to day processing duties of wide range of OTC and listed securities and reports Head of Equity Derivatives Middle Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Support trade flow for EQD department trading desk in Delta One / Prime Services / Equity Finance / Exotic Trading / ETF MM / Warrant, CBBC.
  • Communication and work closely with the various Front, Middle and Back office teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
  • Processing of corporate actions, post trade and life-cycle events.
  • Root cause analysis of issues and suggestions to process improvements
  • Guide junior staff on complex workflow or products.

To succeed in this role, you are required to have a strong knowledge in equity derivatives products and lifecycle events. Having knowledge of ISDA/CSA Master agreements and definitions is a plus.

Requirements:
  • University graduated in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in trade support/ middle office from international bank environment.
  • Good understanding of front to back process.
  • Proficient in using Excel/ VBA is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
