Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and analyze the financial standing of corporate clients to determine their creditworthiness and assess risk levels.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports, including financial statements, ratio analysis, industry analysis, and other relevant information, to support credit decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate the quality and sufficiency of collateral and propose appropriate credit limits based on risk assessments.
  • Review and analyze loan applications, credit proposals, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assess industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that may impact the creditworthiness of clients, and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and maintain effective communication throughout the credit approval process.
  • Monitor and manage the credit portfolio by conducting regular credit reviews, evaluating portfolio performance, identifying potential risks, and suggesting suitable risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and changes in credit risk management policies to ensure compliance and enhance credit risk assessment practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members, assisting in their professional development and knowledge enrichment.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective credit risk management and adherence to regulatory standards.


Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master's degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a Credit Analyst within the corporate banking sector, showcasing a strong understanding of credit risk assessment and analysis.
  • Possess a solid knowledge of financial analysis techniques, credit evaluation methods, and industry-specific risk factors.
  • Exhibit familiarity with relevant financial regulations, accounting principles, and lending guidelines.
  • Display strong analytical skills, enabling the interpretation of complex financial statements, identification of key risk factors, and sound credit decision-making.
  • Showcase excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and report preparation.
  • Be proficient in using financial analysis software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present credit analysis findings to stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Hold professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), which are desirable.
