We are currently looking for dynamic, resourceful and proficient individuals to join our Python development team.

The Role:

  • Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Python applications for various financial services functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions tailored to the needs of our financial services operations.
  • Utilise Python for data analysis, modelling, and visualization to extract meaningful insights from financial data.
  • Implement and enhance quantitative models to support decision-making processes and risk management.
  • Integrate Python applications with existing systems and external APIs to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline processes related to data processing, reporting, and system monitoring.
  • Work closely with traders, risk managers, and other financial professionals to understand their requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts to optimize trading strategies and enhance overall financial performance.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in financial technology, Python frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of financial operations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on financial services.
  • Experience working on either Athena, Quartz or SecDB.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management principles.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks for financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Experience with database systems, data warehousing, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
