The Real Estate Analyst plays a pivotal role in the Investment Management division for this private property investment business. This position requires close collaboration with the Investment Director, encompassing a diverse array of responsibilities such as analytical tasks, investment activities, market studies, acquisition underwriting, due diligence, forecasting, and budget control.
Collaborate with the Investment Director and Investment Analyst to prepare both internal and external partnership reports, including quarterly reports, investment papers, business plans, and partnership strategies.
Conduct analysis on potential acquisitions, offering support in underwriting and presenting opportunities alongside the Investment Director and Operational team.
Develop detailed financial models and perform cash flow analyses.
Conduct research and analysis of the UK markets, including trends, performance assessments, peer reviews, and customer analyses.
Work closely with Finance and Corporate teams on corporate and partnership finance matters.
Collaborate on accounting functions, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations, forecasting, and budget control.
Participate in acquisition due diligence and legal processes, working alongside the Investment Director and the wider operational team.
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, advisors, property consultants, customers, and the broader real estate market.
Assist in establishing new investment vehicles, contributing to investment strategy, financial modeling, corporate governance, and service agreements.
The Successful Candidate:
Holds a strong numerical undergraduate degree from a top-tier university.
Possesses several years of prior experience as an Analyst within a real estate private equity firm, investment bank, accountancy, or real estate investment/asset management.
Demonstrates advanced analytical capabilities, including creating, calculating, and interpreting complex financial models such as DCF, NPV, and IRR.
