The Apprenticeship Program:
The Apprenticeship Programme at Bloomberg is an exciting opportunity to enter the company in a full-time role, take on real responsibility, and discover new skills from day one. Our apprentices make meaningful contributions to our company, while also learning across the industry. Targeted at school leavers, young professionals, military veterans, and those seeking a career change, our program is designed to bridge the gap between the British education system and the ever-changing job market. Anyone who starts their Apprenticeship in CAMS will move to Analytics after one year, anyone who starts in Analytics will stay there for the duration of their programme. The Customer Account Management Support (CAMS) team:
The Customer Account Management Support (CAMS) team provides specialist operational and administrative support to the Bloomberg Terminal Sales department. Not only do they act in an advisory capacity, but they also assist Sales by managing large client projects, such as client 'Request for Proposals' and helping to troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues. By having a detailed overview of Bloomberg processes and procedures, CAMS' role is also to identify opportunities to improve internal efficiency and provide training to new members of the Sales department on internal processes

The department is an exciting next step for somebody who excels at problem solving and project management and has strong networking and communication skills. As CAMS work directly with Terminal Sales, as well as in collaboration with multiple internal departments, a passion for providing excellent customer service and the ability to build a strong internal network within Bloomberg is crucial to be successful in this role.

The Analytics Team:
In our Analytics business, you will provide 24/7 support for Bloomberg Professional Service users all over the world and across multiple industries. Reaching us via our Helpdesk using the 'Instant Bloomberg' chat system, clients access unparalleled customer service where we answer their questions and help them maximize the value of Bloomberg's products. On any given day we respond to over 12,000 queries in more than 15 languages. From educating a portfolio manager on Bloomberg's risk management solutions to helping a trader use our functionality to discover new sources of market liquidity.

Bloomberg is constantly innovating, and Analytics plays a key role in ensuring clients are educated on new products and enhancements by proactively working closely to upskill them through technology and delivering on-site training and seminars. We also work in conjunction with Sales to deliver strategic initiatives, supporting product roll-out and onboarding clients. We want to ensure our clients are making the most of our service and using tools and features that allow them to work smarter.

Eligibility criteria:
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 - 9 in any subject (Should include Maths & English).
  • Three A-levels with grades (predicted or achieved) ABB (or equivalent). Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
  • Possess the right to work in the UK.
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years.

  • Multitasking and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
