Tetragon Financial Group Limited manages a well-established investment platform, TFG Asset Management, for entrepreneurial alternative asset managers looking to launch, scale, sustain growth and generate alpha. The platform has $42 billion in AUM across nine differentiated businesses that offer investors a range of emerging and established strategies. Tetragon seeks to invest alongside our institutional clients in the underlying funds, with the platform able to provide critical infrastructure. We are seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to join our team, based in our New York office. This position dually reports to the Head of Business Development in New York and the Head of Investor Relations in London. The role offers responsibilities across a variety of investor-related areas which are critical to the growth and smooth running of the company's funds and investment vehicles.

Core responsibilities
  • The IR Operations analyst role handles a mix of customer service responsibilities related to investor onboarding, capital activity and information distribution. As a member of the Investor Relations team, this person regularly interacts with the Investor Relations/Business Development team, the funds' administrators, investment teams, and members of the firm's operations and accounting teams.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Working with our investors and our administrator to process investor trades (subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions) across multiple hedge fund and private equity products to ensure correct and timely execution of trades; ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and maintaining trade documentation records
  • Reporting fund flows to business development and investment teams by creating timely and accurate reports and analysis
  • Reviewing and approving fund statements, trade contract notes and capital call/distribution notices
  • Liaising with fund administrators to fulfil various investor requests (price requests, statements, address changes, tax information)
  • Updating and maintaining the firm's reporting database which feeds into key investor reports
  • Working with compliance and finance team to fulfil regular data requests for regulatory filings
  • Other activities may include assisting with broader IR responsibilities including:
    • Updating of firm websites
    • Assisting with distribution of press releases
    • Assisting with organization and logistics of investor earnings/conference calls
    • Assisting with investor meetings and conference calls by providing necessary investor information to team members, and preparing documents and supporting materials for meetings
    • Monitoring IR mailboxes and assisting in responding to investor queries

Required Skills
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in fund administration or operations and is familiar with fund capital flows and client onboarding
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Numerate and skilled at Microsoft excel functions including formulas, pivot tables and data functions
  • Discretion and a proven ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher); comfortable with technology; familiarity with CRM databases and digital communications (website CMS, mass-email systems) is a bonus
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team; self-motivated
  • Flexible, diplomatic, and good-humoured personality
  • Ability to multi-task and to deal with changing priorities
