Investment Analyst, Junior Salary Range: $74,249 - $100,161 / annually.

Investment Analyst, Intermediate Salary Range: $97,822 - $126,094 / annually.

Telework Eligible: SBI currently utilizes a hybrid model, with a minimum of two anchor days in office per week. This is subject to change at the discretion of the SBI Executive Director.

 

About the Opportunity:

The Investment Analyst will conduct investment research & analysis across SBI’s internally and externally managed assets, assist with diligence used in hiring and monitoring external investment managers, evaluate investment portfolio performance, and contribute to portfolio risk management efforts. The incumbent will work with other senior public markets investment staff and across the entire SBI.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications –

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing a high-quality work product
  • Demonstrated interest in business fundamentals and investment strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written form with a wide variety of professionals and various levels of an organization
  • Willing participation in and desire to make continuous progress toward completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program

 

Investment Analyst Intermediate Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years professional experience in a financial, investment or legal position
  • Strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing a high-quality work product
  • Demonstrated interest in business fundamentals and investment strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written form with a wide variety of professionals and various levels of an organization
  • Willing participation in and desire to make continuous progress toward completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program

 

Preferred Qualifications –

  • Familiarity with Public Markets
  • Familiarity with investment related analytical tools and software such as Dynamo, Pitchbook, Preqin, FactSet, eVestment, Bloomberg or similar
  • Experience preparing reports reflecting performance and analytics
