Who we are looking for
State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the SSGA Europe compliance team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Compliance organization and will be located in Krakow. This role provides an opportunity to work on execution and development of the firm's compliance program as well as participating in the coordination and creation of executive management reporting and coordinating and managing regulatory reporting. This role is a CF2 controlled function. This role may be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office (3 days per week) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Compliance Analyst, Officer you will
  • Support the development, implementation and management of the risk based compliance monitoring programme by effective execution of compliance tasks
  • Review and assess compliance breaches and remediation while working with the business to resolve compliance issues
  • Support the Compliance team in the implementation of the firm's compliance procedures, documentation and monitoring systems
  • Assist in the administration and operations for the Compliance department
  • Assist in the coordination and creation of executive management reporting, regular metrics and programme status updates
  • Assist in coordinating and managing regulatory examinations and related reporting

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • The individual should be educated to degree level with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience within asset management compliance.
  • Fluent English is a must

Additional requirements
  • The role is classified as a CF2 under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity regime (CF2), hence candidates must comply with the relevant requirements regarding fitness and probity.
