We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Technology Liason to join our BNY Pershing team. This role is in Chennai, TamilNadu HYBRID.
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the wider client primary research agenda set and managed by Pershing's Strategy team.
  • Support Pershing's strategy team on primary research activities related to client satisfaction, client experience, and platforms & products which Pershing offers to financial advisors.
  • Identify the appropriate survey methodology to gather data and initiate survey using appropriate tools.
  • Synthesize primary research findings from the surveys conducted and deliver the insights in an executive ready format to Strategy / Product Management teams / Pershing's executive leadership for incorporation into strategic planning exercise.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate closely with internal business leaders and other stakeholders to understand key business issues/priorities and proactively provide recommendations to address them.
  • Need to understand the business and its drivers, identify trends, and assess strategies of competitors to ascertain the potential areas where surveys could be initiated to further increase Pershing's competitiveness in the market.
  • Identify and execute new ways of feedback gathering process which include but not limited to executive interviews, focus group discussions etc.
  • Analyzes survey data for insights, prepare reports and build visualization dashboards using Tableau / Power BI.
  • Incorporate the usage of text analysis and other mechanisms on unstructured data to derive more powerful and informative insights for leadership consumption.
  • Research on wealth management industry space and communicate the key insights to Pershing's Strategy team.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in a primary research & insights role, primarily in the BFSI industry (Wealth Management or Private Banking preferable, but not mandatory)
  • Very sound knowledge and hands on experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Altryx, and Tableau; need to be strong on Tableau development and have a strong grip on all Tableau features.
  • Meaningful experience in primary research projects, data interpretation and insights generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner.
