The Role

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and success of our investment activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, experience working with the IT department in system revamp initiatives, and knowledge of eFront and PowerBI.

1. Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the venture capital fund, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
2. Investment Analysis: Analyze potential investment opportunities, perform due diligence, and provide financial insights and recommendations to the investment team.
3. System Revamp: Collaborate with the IT department to identify areas for system improvement and participate in system revamp initiatives. Streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities to drive efficiency and accuracy.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including investor reports, fund performance reports, and regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
5. eFront and PowerBI Expertise: Utilize eFront, our fund management software, to manage investor data, investment valuations, and fund performance. Leverage PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards and reports for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment professionals, legal, and operations, to ensure effective communication and alignment on financial matters.

Your Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
2. Solid experience (5+ years) in finance management within a venture capital fund or private equity firm.
3. Proven track record of successfully working with the IT department on system revamp projects, enhancing financial processes, and implementing reporting solutions.
4. Strong knowledge of eFront or similar fund management software, with the ability to effectively navigate and utilize its features.
5. Proficiency in PowerBI or other data visualization tools to create insightful reports and dashboards.
6. Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
7. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
10. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
