About the Opportunity

Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Morgan McKinley, you are responsible for achieving your annual targets by continuing to learn your specialism and immersing yourself in your niche market. You will be an expert on growing your Client network, and winning new business. From day one, we will seek to understand your future ambitions, whether that is to manage a team or continue down the client development route, so we can provide a bespoke training programme to help you achieve your ambitions.

This opportunity is in our Contract recruitment team in Bristol and would suit an experienced recruiter/Business Development Manager who is passionate about what they can bring to the team and would like to work with impressive clients.

The role of the Business Development Manager will help drive the business strategy forward capitalising on current markets and developing new markets building and nurturing client relationships throughout the South West. Building relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a world-class service. The core responsibility of this role is to identify, own and nurture a portfolio of clients focusing on best in class customer service, driving revenue and customer success.

What we're looking for
  • Minimum of 12 months recruitment/Business Development experience within professional services, and/or Accounting and Finance would be desirable
  • Identify and leverage trends within different industries
  • Using our state of the art technology, practice recruitment techniques and implement new innovative ways of working
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to support others in adhering to best practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication
  • The desire to work in a collaborative, fun environment!
