Job Summary:
The Partnership Servicing Group provides investor servicing and partnership accounting/allocation servicing to 80+ clients with complex partnership and deal structures to clients in the North America Private Funds space. The Client Service Manager will have an opportunity to work directly with large and complex GFS clients. Responsibilities will include: facilitating accurate and timely client deliverables, managing client change requests, overseeing deliverables, and handling client specific issue-resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee service levels to dedicated clients by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of client reporting. Collaborate closely with business teams to facilitate best in class service.
2. Attend operational meetings with clients. Represent the Partnership Servicing Group and maintain strong awareness of PSG related initiatives to provide clients insight on new efficiencies, regulatory initiatives, and overall services.
3. Prepare presentation materials for client Due Diligence meetings. Attend client meetings and provide business updates.
4. Operate independently and maintain in-depth knowledge of the business unit and team functions.
5. Develop in-depth understanding of clients' products and servicing needs. Ensure proper support across teams and plan for future development needs.
6. Manage client change initiatives across teams and business units as needed. Conduct detailed process analysis to understand client requests and inquiries. Provide consultative support to address clients' business needs.
7. Cultivate and maintain working relationship with Relationship Managers, Client Service Delivery Managers and other Service Managers to ensure client service needs are met.
8. Act as the key client contact within area of expertise and follow up on day-to-day client queries and issue resolution.
Assist client(s) and partners with complex problem resolutions.
10. Address servicing issues with urgency. Lead efforts to identify root causes and preventative measures.
11. Provide technical expertise for new or complex products/services. Oversee the implementation of new processes to support these products/services on an ongoing basis to ensure that client needs are met.
12. Maintain working knowledge of service level descriptions/agreements as relates to job function and division deliverables.
13. Provide management reporting on transactions, including statistics on volume, productivity, new development and service impact to clients.
14. Interact with various operations areas to improve client specific processes.
Knowledge/Skills
A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) / or studying towards, is preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills are required Functional / Industry Knowledge is required Analytical and problem solving skills are required / preferred technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required / preferred.
