The Opportunity

Mawer Investment Management is hiring for the position of credit analyst within its expanding fixed income group. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter passionate about investment excellence who thrives in a highly collaborative, high-performing team environment to join our global Research team. Essential to the credit analyst role is an ability and willingness to meaningfully enhance our credit process, strengthen our culture, and help build Mawer into one of the best global investment management firms.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fundamental research
  • Comparative valuation
  • Trade idea generation
  • Portfolio monitoring

Application Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in capital markets
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
  • Practical background in fundamental analysis with global credit market
  • Knowledge and exposure to direct lending, debt capital markets, fixed income trading, and portfolio management all considered assets
  • Strong work ethic and a demonstrated track record of excellence and commitment to achieve meaningful results
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills mandatory
  • CFA qualification or a willingness to enroll in the program
