Stock Analyst

Role

This is an opportunity to work directly with the principals of the business to assist in managing our stock portfolios.  Responsibilities include:

  • Perform Due diligence and deep dive fundamental research on existing and prospective holdings.
  • This includes detail analyst of quarterly and annual filings, participating in investor calls, and utilizing other sources to assist in the analysis Perform portfolio analysis and performance.
  • Compare portfolio performance with benchmarks.
  • Ensure that each portfolio is matching the clients’ goals and objectives by analyzing each portfolio sector exposure, asset class allocation, and weight of individual investments.
  • Interact with the investment team on a daily basis regarding impactful information on current and potential holdings.
  • Oversee preparation of quarterly client reporting on performance, allocations, and investment highlights.
  • Participate in weekly stock analysis team reviews.
  • Track and apply micro and macro-economic trends as they affect our stock holdings.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required with a strong academic record CFA preferred or CFA candidate
  • Minimum 2- 3 years experience analyzing investments
  • Self-Starter who excels at taking initiative and working independently
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Solid work ethic, interpersonal skills and exceptional communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities
  • Strong computer skills with a detailed foundation of Microsoft Office Suite
