Job Summary
The role holder will support the development and management of Canada Life Literature and content across a number of customer journeys, playing a critical role in keeping the business safe, ensuring content is accurate, compelling and meets the necessary regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- To support the maintenance of Canada Life's literature estate, ensuring communications remain compliant, compelling and available to target audiences through the appropriate channels. Ensure that all marketing collateral and literature on and offline is maintained and up-to-date, managing the approval process so that it adheres to brand guidelines, is signed-off by Technical, Legal, Compliance, Product and Distribution, and any other relevant parties, including external partners, as appropriate
- Create, schedule, deploy and promote high quality product literature, sales material, web content, content for webinars, events, social media, and other purposes, drawing on internal and external creative and technical resources where appropriate
- Work closely with counterparts in other departments as required, such as Sales, Product and Compliance, and external advertising agencies, media buyers etc
- Carry out literature reporting and analysis, including Google Analytics, email results and other ad hoc reporting
Practical experience in a marketing communications role is necessary, for example:
- Literature management, ideally in a regulated industry, with experience of working closely with risk, compliance and legal functions
- Good knowledge of print and stock management processes, PO and Invoice mgt, and budget forecasting
- Use of data and marketing analytics tools
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing methods - including email campaigns, content marketing, social media, and online advertising
- Some experience working with agencies and other providers of marketing services
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Able to manage complex workloads and meet numerous deadlines to budget
- An eye for detail, able to spot trends
- Excellent people skills, adept at winning support from a wide range of people and collaborating closely when needed to achieve common goals
Qualifications
Desirable:
- Degree level education
- Marketing qualification - CIM or equivalent
