About the role:
You'll be supporting the practice to deliver agile and pragmatic solutions to clients. It's likely you'll work across market sectors to help our clients in multiple scenarios, including debt raise, restructuring and financial improvement. Our clients are wide ranging and include corporates, banks, equity holders, credit funds, pension trustees and government organisations.

Essential skills:
Your office location will be Cardiff, However, we work with a great diversity of clients, in locations both in and outside the UK. There may be occasions where travel is required, to ensure you are at the heart of the project with the wider Restructuring & Forensics team.
With an increasingly agile workforce, we're open to flexible working requirements and have many successful arrangements currently in place that flex from the standard 5 day week. We're very open to discussing this further at the interview stage.

Your responsibilities:
- Working with integrated financial accounts and models including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements
- Checking and challenging financial models and assumptions
- Analysing historical trends and scrutinising forecasts
- Performing cost benchmarks and analysing working capital
- Monitoring short term cash flows
- Identifying and quantifying opportunities for financial improvement and efficiencies
- Writing up your findings in client reports
Essential skills:
- Sound business and financial analysis skills, including developing and reviewing financial forecasts and KPI's
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Good excel modelling skills or a desire to learn in this area
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with all levels (internal and external stakeholders)
- Effective communicator; both written and verbal
- Curious and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to multitask
- Willing to challenge and question
- Ideally a part qualification or fully qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT
- Familiarity with visualisation software such as Tableau, Power BI is desirable, but not essential as knowledge can be developed in role
- Familiarity with Google suite a bonus, but not essential
