VP Metals & Mining Investment Banking

• Banking industry
• Focus on metals and mining/ energy natural resources industry

Responsibilities would include:

• Work with a variety of financial products/ strategic advisory assignments, including public and private debt and equity financings, M&A, and financial advisory
• Integral part of the transaction deal team, oversee financial and valuation analyses, resolving complex financial/ accounting issues, perform industry and competitive analysis, performing financial modelling
• Support origination and execution of live transactions
• Assisting with client coverage; new business development and maintaining client relationships, proactively grow key metals & mining clientele together with in country relationship managers at global level
• Conducting industry / company research analysis, client presentations
• Participate in the management, training and assessment of junior staff

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Years of experience: 6-10 Investment Banking/ M&A and Capital Markets experience
• Must have done some deals in Energy Natural resources or metals, mining resources previously
• Strong financial modeling skills and an excellent grasp of corporate finance and financial valuations including DCF, merger modeling, comparable companies and precedents
• Strong work ethics, high level of integrity
• Have strong initiative and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills
• Good stakeholder management; able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
