Renewable Energy Associate, Singapore

• Associate level (4-8 years experience)
• Reporting to Head of Renewable Energy / New Energy/ Clean tech

Responsibilities would include:

• Support the coverage of clients in the Renewable Energy (RE) sector
• Support origination and execution of strategic transactions as part of the RE / Clean Tech Industries team across M&A Advisory and Financing
• Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies relevant for the industry
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impact of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
• Participate from pitch phase through to closing including due diligence and drafting of documents.
• Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets in the industry
• Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank
• Involved in day to day project and portfolio management, execution support and stakeholder management

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 4-8 years of prior experience in M&A, Structured Debt, Project Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Markets and Structured Trade transactions (across Investment Banking, Advisory, Corporate firm etc as long as below mandatory point is met)
• Mandatory: Some knowledge and deal experience in the RE / New Energies / Clean tech sector. (Eg. Renewables, Solar, Wind, Water, EV, Green Hydrogen, Electric Vehicles & Battery Value chain, E-mobility, Waste to Energy / Waste Management etc)
• Solid financial analysis skills and proficiency in building complex financial models
• Ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
• Strong work ethics, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
• Team player
• Effective communication skills both written and oral with internal and external clients and stakeholders
