The Role
This redeveloped role is a critical position within the finance & group structure to support the achievement of the businesses short, medium and long-term strategic objectives. The role will present the opportunity to constantly interact and business partner senior stakeholders including the Board providing fantastic visibility and exposure to the entire group and it's ventures. The Role

- Business partnering with senior stakeholders, Departmental Heads and the Board
- Aiding the business with decision making and to set & achieve strategic objectives through effective financial analysis & planning
- Leading a team - hiring, training and development
- Ownership of budget process with ability to set, monitor and challenge variances
- Involvement in process and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with system developments and enhancements
- Production, consolidation and presentation of monthly reporting packs:
- o Dashboard development
- o Data, trends & insights
- o KPI setting and reporting
- o Actual v budget
- o Cost allocation & analysis
- o Short, medium and long-term forecasting
- o Treasury
The position of FP&A Manager is based in Edinburgh with hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office and 2 days from home). The role will also offer:

We are keen to engage with candidates that met the below criteria:
ESSENTIAL
- Qualified Accountant with 5 years+ post qualification experience
- Operated within a solely FP&A capacity with strong KPI, metrics and data analysis experience
- A proven track record of senior, and ideally Executive business partnering
- People management exposure
- Group experience including consolidations & treasury exposure
- Infrastructure experience i.e. PFI, PPP, renewables, energy etc.
- System (ERP/BI Tools) implementation/development exposure
