We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Program and Project Management to join our APAC Financial Controllers team. This role is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
The Regulatory Change and Support Team in APAC is responsible for implementing new and existing APAC regulation on our reporting platform AxiomSL (Adenza) ControllerView. These include changes proposed by the regulators across the region including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, Korea and China.
  • The role of project manager is front and centre in the success of implementing changes in regulation, process and organisation across the region.
  • This is a pivotal role in the team, and you will be interacting with multiple stakeholders across many jurisdictions and differing levels of seniority.
  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of regulatory and improvement projects of mixed complexity.
  • Bring structure the projects through planning and reporting.
  • Manage the risks associated with the projects.
  • Manage the business analysists and Axiom production support staff to achieve the team objectives.
  • Work closely with the country controllers, Centers of Excellence and technology to implement solutions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Intellectual curiosity. Wanting to know how things work, why and how it all fits together.
  • Highly motivated individual who will proactively seek out information and actively learn about systems, processes, and the regulation being implemented. Training will be provided but handholding will be limited.

  • Articulate both written and verbally. Communicate openly and frequently with the team and stakeholders.
  • Adaptive. A team player comfortable with giving and receiving constructive feedback in a respectful way.

  • Takes ownership and accountability for their work and be proud of it.
  • Brokers relationships with all stakeholders internal and external to the team and Bank.
