Quilter Change is Quilter Group's primary engine for the delivery of business and technology change including the provision of robust infrastructure and IT service operations that Quilter can depend upon.
About the Role
The role is to work on our Platform enhancement project. This is a combination of maintenance deliverables, regulatory changes and new propositional requirements that are being delivered in an agile type model.
The role is to support the team building a buffer of requirements that are organised into design/build development releases.
They will be supported by a lead analyst that holds the strategic view across the whole roadmap of change and a project manager who will oversee their delivery to timescales and manage risks etc.
Planning and Analysis
Conducts business process and systems analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses of business systems and applications to create project proposals that align technology solutions with business objectives and the Quilter Technology Strategy and roadmaps.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives, based on end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications, and industry requirements.
Identifies, captures and develops requirements (functional and non-functional) providing detailed documentation and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle and change control, prioritising requirements based on high-value achievable requirements.
Drives continuous improvement of business products and services by translating requirements into improved design and service provisioning. Project Execution
Operates as a link between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department to understand the business implications of the technical solutions on the current and future business environment.
Manages system incidents working with the project team to ensure resolution
Works with the end-user to select or define appropriate scenarios to test and determine whether system changes meet project specifications. Coordinates with users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation and prepares communication material on system enhancements.
Monitors production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users

Experience of Financial Services is essential as we are looking for people that can take responsibility for pockets of requirements and quickly shape out what is needed working with our subject matter experts and understanding the potential impacts across the current estate/other deliverables.
Agile experience is desired, particularly experience in writing user stories and working within JIRA.
We are not however, looking for systems analysts. We need business analysts that can understand how the business teams function, how the process work to deliver business outcomes and what is required from new/changed functionality to meet their needs. All the while considering the impact on our Advisers and Clients.
Experienced working as a Business Systems Analysis across the software development lifecycle.
Ability to design and document business processes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to manage expectations.
Ability and experience assisting with planning activities.
