An alternative investment manager specialising in systematic and quantitative trading, known for their very generous bonuses that typically land between 50% and 100%.

Offices around the world, but head-quartered out of their London Bishopsgate office.

The Team

Join one of this highly successful firm's most talented and valued teams of Front Office Quantitative Developers, the 'Trading & Technology Team' (FX, Futures, Index Swaps). Of the firm 's two distinct divisions (asset management and market making), this role sits on their Market Making side.

The Role

On the Trading & Technology team, you will be responsible for the research, development and mangement of the proprietary Java-based, high-performance, highly-distributed technology stack: from price construction to risk management and order execution. There is a strong focus on the quantitative and mathematical side as well as development.

The ideal engineer is highly proficient in low latency Java techniques, has sat in a Front Office position in eFX Market Making, remains fully hands-on and works well under pressure.

4 days in office, 1 WFH

You'll need...
  • 10+ years of professional quantitative Java Development (inc. code profiling/ JMH tools techniques)
  • Low Latency Java development
  • Model-based trading experience in spot FX, futures or fixed income markets
  • Ability to work closely with quant researchers to implement trading components
