Mandarin Speaking Junior Analyst - Hedge Fund

We are working with a prestigious Hedge Fund, who are looking for Mandarin speakers with 2 years M&A experience to join their junior equity analyst programme. The programme leads to a full time position.

About the Role:

Programme Overview:

• Duration: The programme is an intensive 6-9 month initiative designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for your career as an Equity Analyst.
• Skill Development: The first 3 months will focus on honing your modelling skills and learning best practices in equity analysis.
• Pitching and Placement: Following your initial training, you'll have the chance to present your ideas to portfolio management teams. Successfully pitched candidates will land a permanent position within the dynamic teams.
• Stock Coverage: You will be responsible for analysing and managing a portfolio of 12-15 stocks, building your expertise in equity research.
• Pipeline Building: In addition to maintaining coverage, you will actively contribute to building a robust pipeline of investment opportunities.

What You Need for the Role:

• M&A Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) is essential. This experience can be from any sector.
• Language Skills: Native fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Programming Proficiency: You should have the ability to program in at least one of the following languages: Python, R, or C++. Proficiency in programming is critical for data analysis and research automation.
