Overview

The Billing Analyst/Manager will centralize and oversee the entire invoicing process, from invoice creation to client delivery whilst managing the associated regulatory and business risks

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire billing process including, production of all invoices, working closely with several internal teams  Finance, (US and UK teams), Client Services, Operations and IT)
  • Ensure all clients are set up on Revport in accordance with each client’s respective IMA, while working with both UK and US counterparts to increase the number of clients using Revport to generate invoices
  • Seek opportunities to leverage Revport more effectively, helping to build out its functionality as part of the team’s long term technology solution
  • Maintain a verified database to ensure client details (e.g. names, contact information, etc.) are properly stored in Revport
  • Work with Client Service and Operations Teams to ensure timely and accurate client information is available once a client onboards
  • Timely delivery of all invoices, with the goal of reducing our delivery time to industry standards within the first year of being hired
  • Monitor invoice status and document accounts receivable on a weekly basis;
  • Identify and help resolve problematic patterns and situations that may adversely impact billing and collections
  • Report to the Fee Committees in UK and US on fee proposals and negotiations
  • Provide regular detailed revenue analysis across channels, client types, strategies and consultants

Qualifications

  • Experience with Revport required
  • BS/MA degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years post-qualification asset management experience; experience leading a team preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen, self-starter, quick learning, and clarity of thinking
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
