Duties:
Requirements:
- Maintaining and assisting with the development of the risk management framework/ policy and operational risk policies
- Conduct and support the design and implementation of the compliance monitoring plan, including regulatory risk assessment; overseeing implementation of lessons learned
- Ensuring risk appetite is well understood and embedded within the business
- Training the business on the operational risk policies
- Collation of the outputs of the framework e.g. RCSA's, risk events, KRI's to present a coherent view of risk to senior management.
- Oversight, challenge and management of risk events, including adequate documentation, ensuring lessons learned are embedded into the 1st line of defence process improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Management of the framework for tracking governance, risk and compliance actions, ensuring periodic reporting on timeliness of completion to senior management

Requirements:
- 2years' + Operational Risk experience gained at an investment manager
- Has undertaken compliance monitoring reviews as part of an overall compliance monitoring plan, and potentially some deep dive analysis.
- Detailed understanding of Risk and Control frameworks, including the implementation, embedding and governance
- Holds working knowledge of regulatory requirements within the UK Financial Services markets.
- Strong presentation & written skills, capacity to summarize complex issues, and capacity to convince key stakeholders of the relevance of the operational risk framework
- Bachelor's, Master's or other advanced degree in finance or technology or related discipline
