PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting team members on all aspects of Transactions deal management
Working in small deal teams of 3-4 members, working closely with private equity sponsor clients of similar sizes, in engagements ranging from 3-6 months long
Conducting analytics into GP fund portfolio(s) and underlying portfolio companies, including valuation, track record, financial performance, and market opportunity
Helping to prepare marketing materials (e.g. pitchbooks, IMs, LBO models, case studies) Helping to coordinate and prioritise potential buyer interactions
5 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CLIENT INTERFACE
Analysts will be invited to client meetings from day one and will be expected to attend and contribute to client meetings and on conference calls
Significant senior client interaction during the course of a transaction Develop strong relationships with client peers
Develop relationships/credibility with clients above peer level EXPERIENCE Exposure to asset analysis and valuation (e.g, M&A, Equity Research or Private Equity) is critical
Exposure to the private equity industry is desired, but not essential
SKILLS
High level of attention to detail required across all materials
High level of organisation skill, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
An understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement)
An understanding of private equity performance metrics
Strong English writing skills with the ability to produce precise and thoughtful written content
Strong numerical and Excel skills
Experience working in PowerPoint essential
