Job Details
Australian Retirement Trust is seeking a dedicated Associate Portfolio Manager to join our first-line investment risk team within Investment Resilience and Planning. Play a crucial role in investment strategy and risk management and achieving exceptional financial outcomes for our members.

About the role
In this role you will play a key role in setting and executing the strategy for our investment domain while delivering outcomes that serve the best financial interests of our members. Key duties include updating stakeholders on the risk profiles of portfolios and the market environment, conducting research and scenario analysis on asset classes and investment themes, delivering timely risk reports, identifying potential risk mitigation strategies, fostering strong internal and external relationships, mentoring junior team members, and staying current on industry trends.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
About you
To ensure success you will possess investment strategy and risk management experience, be passionate about monitoring and evaluating investment markets and the macroeconomic landscape, and have strong research and analytical skills. Experience in private equity or private credit asset classes are preferred.
