Our client is a Boutique Investment Bank in London who is looking to hire a M&A Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine the company's M&A strategy, aligning it with our long-term business goals.
  • Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, both domestically and internationally, that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence efforts, including financial, legal, operational, and market analysis, to assess the viability and risks of potential transactions.
  • Negotiation: Conduct negotiations, review contracts, and structure deals to maximize value and mitigate risks, while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Integration: Oversee post-acquisition integration activities, ensuring seamless integration of acquired businesses into the organization and realization of synergies.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, including analysts and project managers, to execute M&A transactions effectively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, legal advisors, and target companies.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience within the field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial models and business data.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A high level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
