Credit Risk Analyst - NBFI

An established international bank based in London seek an experienced Credit Risk Analyst (2nd LoD) that will focus on coverage of NBFI markets, with a broad remit spanning PE firms, insurance, broker-dealers, clearing houses, stock exchanges etc.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough analysis and assessment of credit applications submitted by the FI/NBFI department
• Prepare detailed credit reports related to credit applications, expanding on relevant attributes
• Present and discuss credit reports at credit committee meetings
• Oversee the full credit approval process and support front office by providing suitable guidance
• Ensure compliance with bank risk appetite, policy and related regulatory requirements
• Monitor a wide range of related risks that could potentially affect borrowers
• Support the launch and development of any projects related to the department
• Attend related credit committee meetings
• Liaise with relevant internal and external counterparties where required
• Help guide and mentor junior members of the team
