Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions (FIG)

Our client is a top tier bank in Hong Kong, and currently they have created an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions overlooking the business in Hong Kong

Your new role

• Reporting directly to the Hong Kong Senior Leadership team and Regional Head of FI, you will devise a strategy to expand the Bank FI and Non-Bank FI clients in Hong Kong
• Overlook a team of Relationships Managers who cover Banks, Non-Bank FIs (securities firms, insurance companies, asset management, brokers, dealers and asset management clients) and public sector clients in Hong Kong
• Analyse the current market situation, and develop tailored banking solutions to new and existing clients
• Overlook the P&L of the FI business and develop periodic reports for management
• Review internal process and procedures and ensure they are compliant with business standards
• Collaborate with other departments and internal stakeholders to ensure the business is delivering superior business solutions

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong academics from a top tier university
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in FI and NBFI experience in Hong Kong and / China
• Proven track record in building and maintaining close FI and NBFI client relationships
• Strong leadership experience and stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience in managing teams is a must
• Exceptional financial analysis and communication skills
• Fluency in English is a must, with preference in Mandarin and Cantonese
