We are now working with a very successful oil and gas company.
They are now looking to recruit an Investment Associate into their M&A team in their London offices.
The company is entrepreneurial, opportunistic and has completed a number of deals in the last few years.
The M&A team sources and reviews new investment opportunities for the Group as well as supports internal corporate development projects.
The role will involve assisting the team in ongoing M&A processes and sourcing new deals.
The responsibilities of the analyst/associate include:
Researching prospective M&A opportunities
Financial modelling and valuation of businesses/assets
Reviewing technical and legal documents
Coordinating due diligence workstreams with external advisors
Participating in internal/external meetings Assisting in the preparation of offer letters and term sheets
The team reports to the Board
We are looking for a candidate with:
Background in private equity or investment banking
Proficiency in financial valuation, modelling and accounting
Past work experience in oil and gas, mining and metals, chemicals would be useful although not essential
